Judi Daykin is a working actor, a drama workshop leader and a theatre director. She is also a folk singer and member of her local folk club. She believes that Britain’s wonderful legacy of folk music is one of the best kept secrets in the country. In much of her work Judi has often found chances to surreptitiously introduce her audiences to her favourite folk songs.
In this new show Judi will sing some of those folk and acoustic songs, while entertaining the audience with tales about her life in theatre and occasional forays into television. There may even be the odd Shakespeare quote, tall tale or comic monologue.
Suitable for small venues, rural touring and folk clubs. Available from Spring 2010.
